Hello everyone! I hope you all had a stress free holiday season and are enjoying the new year. Here is a list of products from the past few months of Petit Vour boxes. I am slowly getting better at writing reviews of the products within the time that I get them. Sometime it is difficult because I do not immediately find a use for a product. Other times I just find myself so busy with work and school that I forget what time is all together.
Hello everyone! I wanted to do more Petit Vour beauty box videos but long story short, I do not currently have access to editing software or have room on my computer. One of my summer projects is to clean up the files on my computer so hopefully I get to that sooner than later… In the meantime, I am going to post a written review of everything.
This summer in Santa Cruz has had some truly hot days. It got into triple digits recently and was terrible. I have fair, sensitive skin, and usually still get sunburned (while wearing sunscreen) on my first full day of exposure. Sunscreen is a must because even spending a small amount of time in the sun can expose you to sun damage. I have tried to be a lot more skin conscious this summer!
My lips dry very easily, so I always have a tinted and a non tinted lip balm in my schoolbag or purse. The tinted comes in handy if I want a subtle pop of color while out and about. I tend to misplace a lot of my lip balms, but you can never have too many! I wanted to share my current lip balm collection and do a price comparison.
I did it! I got through my first video with little to no mess-ups. I am actually very excited to keep making videos and get less nervous as the time comes. I apologize in advance to the companies if/when I mispronounced their brand names or products. I said “L.A. Fresh” instead “La Fresh” because my poor eyesight made me believe that there were dots between the “L” and “A.” I also butchered RawSkinCeuticals. I tend to stammer a lot when I am nervous. There are a couple other things I want to mention besides my mistakes in pronouncing names.
Hello everyone! I deeply apologize for not posting much in the past couple weeks. I recently declared my second major and planned out my remaining time at UCSC. It is also finals week this week so needless to say, I have been preoccupied with that. I also put a lot of my funds from the past two months into Christmas and birthday gifts. I have many family and friends who have birthdays around Christmas or in January.
I thought I would do some reviews of the products that I got in the Petit Vour September beauty box even though they are considered luxury items. However, I will say vegan friendly nail polish is something that you might want to splurge on. Quality goes down with cheaper nail polish but sometimes buying the less expensive item is necessary. It all depends on your college budget, how often you paint your nails, and how much use you want to get out of a home manicure.
As someone with combination skin that changes with the seasons, I’m always looking for new beauty products. The products I use in the morning are different than what I use at night and very different than what I use in the summer vs. the winter. I also need to “change it up” every so often or else my skin gets too dry or stays oily. Like I said, combination skin.
