Some of you may have noticed I took small hiatus from blogging. Over the past couple months, I have undergone some intense life changes. It took a lot of energy to do anything so I put all that energy into finishing the remaining weeks of winter quarter. I made it through with higher grades than I anticipated and now I am ready to take on my last undergraduate quarter at UCSC! Since I now live alone, I am driven to keep better track of how I spend money.
I work at a little coffee shop that sells bagels. So, naturally, I have a stash of cream cheese at home to either bring to work or use when there are leftover bagels at the end of the day. I thought I would do a quick comparison of a few of the brands that I have used.
There are some items that I do not mind spending a little more money on. We should allow ourselves a “splurge” item here and there if we can. “Treat yo self” but in moderation is an idea that I like to live by. I want to start posting a monthly item that I decided was worth paying more for.
I know I have been writing a lot about beauty products recently but cosmetics is something I spend a lot of money on. Living on a budget means most of my makeup comes from e.l.f. or makeup sales from my favorite (more expensive) brands. This recent e.l.f. order has been one of my favorite so far, as I have enjoyed every single product that I ordered. Great colors, quality, and wearability from all of them!
Hi everyone! I hope you all had an awesome weekend. I have been trying out a bunch of different toothpastes and thought I would share my recent purchase. Along with deodorant, a good toothpaste is something I often struggle to find. I decided to try out some toothy tabs from Lush and bought the “Chou Chou… I Love You” flavor.
Hello everyone! I wanted to do more Petit Vour beauty box videos but long story short, I do not currently have access to editing software or have room on my computer. One of my summer projects is to clean up the files on my computer so hopefully I get to that sooner than later… In the meantime, I am going to post a written review of everything.
This summer in Santa Cruz has had some truly hot days. It got into triple digits recently and was terrible. I have fair, sensitive skin, and usually still get sunburned (while wearing sunscreen) on my first full day of exposure. Sunscreen is a must because even spending a small amount of time in the sun can expose you to sun damage. I have tried to be a lot more skin conscious this summer!
Hi everyone! This summer has been super hectic for me. I learned how to balance a full-time job with summer classes and the classes ended up taking up almost all my time when I was not working. My last day was Wednesday, so I finally have some free time (and energy) to blog!
Nothing says “summer” like the smell of freshly applied sunscreen. I went to Walgreens a couple weeks back to buy what I thought was a spay sunscreen from Kiss My Face. As it turns out, I bought their spray moisturizer instead of their spay sunscreen. I figured I might as well try it out since I am always keen to try new moisturizers.
