Petit Vour beauty box video

I did it! I got through my first video with little to no mess-ups. I am actually very excited to keep making videos and get less nervous as the time comes. I apologize in advance to the companies if/when I mispronounced their brand names or products. I said “L.A. Fresh” instead “La Fresh” because my poor eyesight made me believe that there were dots between the “L” and “A.” I also butchered RawSkinCeuticals. I tend to stammer a lot when I am nervous. There are a couple other things I want to mention besides my mistakes in pronouncing names.

First, I realize that the pitch of my voice makes it sound like I am pronouncing Petit Vour incorrectly. I learned French in high school and the “t” is supposed to be silent in the word “petit.” It sounds like I am saying the “t” but I swear I was trying not to! In the about section, Petit Vour has a banner with the pronunciation, pet-ee vohr. I need to work on my accent…

Second, I forgot to mention one of my favorite products. I even had everything laid out in front of me but since I was nervous and messed up, I did not realize that I forgot to mention Everyday Minerals blush “All Smiles.” I am wearing it in the video so hopefully you can all see what it looks like on my skin tone. I also may have forgotten to say color names of products but I have put them in the description below.

I wanted to keep the video short so I did not review each item mentioned. I plan to make a video every month or every other month that will do a full video review of each product from my monthly box. Please keep reading to see short written reviews of the products I have received over the past few months.

September:
Ellovi Tinted Lip Butter
— Worn almost everyday. Perfect amount of subtle lip tint. Noticed that extreme temperatures will cause “bubbling.”
LVX Nail Lacquer (Lolli)
— Worn once. Very durable and goes on smoothly.
Root Science Weekly Facial Mask
— Used once. Be careful about adding too much water, it is very easy to do. Left my skin feeling refreshed but not dry like some masks do.
Yarok Leave-in Conditioner
— Used multiple times. Smells amazing and does not leave heavy residue. Keeps my hair looking very healthy.

October:
Flo + Theo Lemon Orchard Body Butter
— Used a few times. Used only for my hands but it would be great to use on any other dry area. Smells fantastic and left my hands feeling less dry.
Forager Botanicals Perfume (Nectar)
— Worn a few times. Very light floral scent. Felt the need to touch up after a few hours though.
Pacifica Devocean Natural Lipstick (xox)
— Worn many times. My go-to lipstick when wanting a natural lip. I love how creamy the lipstick is and how it does not dry out my lips.
S.W. Basics Toner
— Used up. One of my favorite toners. Kept my blemishes under control, my face feeling fresh, and did not have overpowering scent.

November:
Au Naturale Creme Concealer (Beige) & Creme Eye Shadow (Palma)
— Creme concealer used a couple of times, creme eye shadow used a couple of times. Concealer used mainly for dark circles/eye area. Beige worked well with my skin tone. Palma looks fantastic when applied to the inner eye area. Gives a great “pop” to natural looks.
Earthbody Sacred Skincare Dream Body Oil
— Used once. Feels amazing and perfect for massages. Skin feels soft and smooth after use. Would also be nice in a bath.
French Girl Organics Mineral Lip Tint (Cerise)
— Worn often. Very pigmented for a lip tint so a little goes a long way. Smells wonderful and keeps my lips hydrated.
La Fresh Waterproof Makeup Remover Wipes
— Used up. I was honestly a bit surprised at how well these wipes removed makeup, due to their size. One of the best makeup remover wipes I have ever used.

December:
Blissoma Skincare Smooth A+ Perfecting Serum (Oily-Problem-Blemished)
— Worn often. Applied in the morning after moisturizing. Soothes redness and irritation and has a pleasant smell. Keeps my breakouts under control.
Everyday Minerals Blush (All Smiles)
— Worn often. Beautiful peachy orange. Very pigmented. My current go-to blush.
Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant (Lavender)
— Worn often. Smells fantastic and easy to apply cream formula. It caused breakouts when not washed off the day of. Found that it needs to be reapplied if actively out all day.
Trust Fund Beauty (Just Talk To My Lawyer)
— Worn once. I love dark nail polishes so I am a huge fan of this color. Beautiful dark brown with a hint of red when at the right angle. Very durable formula and goes on smooth. Only 1-2 layers needed.

January:
100% Pure Hand Buttercream (French Lavender)
— Used often. My hands get very dry so I have been using this buttercream a lot. I find that I need a couple of applications before my skin feels less dry. Lovely lavender scent.
EVOLVh SmartStart Leave-in Conditioner
— Used a couple times. Also doubles as a detangler. Gave my hair a little more volume and did not feel heavy as some leave-in conditioners do.
Modern Minerals Eyeshadow (En Pointe)
— Worn a couple times. I love this eyeshadow. It is a very shimmery brick/pink color, depending on angle. I advise layering for a bold effect but it also gives a great subtle color pop when applied with one layer.
RawSkinCeuticals Creme Blush (Merlot Rose*)
— Worn once as base for powder blush. Not really my color and a little goes a long way. It feels very light on a the skin which is something I like.

*It does not say what color the blush is on the container. I used my best judgement in matching the color to name when looking at options on Petit Vour’s site.

February:
Balanced Guru Scrub Me Nice and Gritty Body Scrub
— Not used yet. Has a sweet coffee aroma.
Ellovi Mint Chocolate Body Butter
— Not used yet. It smells amazing and if anything like their lip balm, it will most likely feel amazing too.
Harvey Prince Perfumes (Damask Rose & Imperial Gardenia)
— Damask Rose worn often, have yet to try Imperial Gardenia. Two spritzes of perfume lasts all day but is not overpowering. My go-to scent is now Damask Rose.
Lily Lolo Black Mascara
— Worn often. Easy to apply and easy to remove. Be careful to not layer on as it will clump. One layer worked just fine for me.

I love Petit Vour and how I have the chance to try out wonderful luxury beauty items for such a low price. There is nothing like being able to treat yourself while on a budget. You can check out my Instagram for photos I take of each monthly box.

I hope everyone finds these mini reviews helpful! I aim to have better reviews of each product when I do monthly or bimonthly videos. Please let me know if there was a mistake made in the video or in this post. I tried my best to equally review each product. There was a lot to go over! Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.
